Divorce/Family Law

Mr. Grant has been married for 38 years, raised seven children (wife really did it), and has practiced family law from the beginning in 1985. Family law has always been the majority of Mr. Grant's practice. He loves helping people resolve conflict and moving on. Your alimony, child support, custody, co-parenting, and property/debt division is in the hands of a seasoned professional who cares whether you succeed after divorce. Mr. Grant knows the custodial evaluators, family mediators, and other professionals that can help you obtain peace and lasting results.

Estate and Business Planning

Mr. Grant has litigated Wills & Trust that were written under suspicious circumstances for families whose parents were taken advantage of.  He has drafted hundreds of Wills, Trusts, Living Wills, Durable Power of Attorneys, Family Partnerships, LLC's, Subchapter S Corporations and Deeds to help avoid probate or more taxes. He has drafted Special Needs Trust (disabled), Children's Trust & Recreational Property Trusts. He is familiar with the new Domestic.  He is a representative of Hyatt Legal Insurance, which provides coverage for your estate planning. General Litigation

Mr. Grant has litigated before several Judges throughout Utah, including Logan, Vernal, Duchesne, Weber, Davis, Salt Lake, Provo, Price and Brigham City. He has tried cases in Federal Court, State Court, before the Commissioner, Juvenile Court, Municipal Court and Small Claims. He tried and won the largest and most complex business separation litigation case to be tried in Logan. He was the Tremonton City Prosecutor and can successfully defend criminal and juvenile matters. Mr. Grant has represented some of the most difficult adoption cases in Cache County, including failed adoptions, paternity adoptions, parental relinquishment cases, foreign adoptions, parental neglect/abuse/abandonment, interstate compact adoptions, Agency adoptions, grandparent adoptions and private adoptions.  He knows the value of creating stable family relations for the benefit of the child and because he has practiced family law involving custody for 28 years, he can help you with any need.

Person Injury/Wrongful Death

Mr. Grant has represented hundreds of clients on various injuries from dog bites, to semi accidents, including all types of work place accidents. He knows most of the local insurance adjusters, has a son who is a doctor, who often helps explain the medical causation of your injury. Mr. Grant can give personal attention to your injury. He never treats your case as a number, settling quickly, like large firms do, who traditionally run cases through the fast track settlement mill just to pay for expensive advertising costs and contingency fees for several lawyers. Mr. Grant, because he represents injured workers and disabled persons for social security, understands all aspects and sources for a potential recovery including ERISA, Long Term Disability, ADA, Workers Compensation, Third Party Liability, Social Security Disability, No Fault Insurance, Premise Liability, Home Owners Coverage, General Insurance Coverage and Civil Rights Coverage.

Workers Compensation

Mr. Grant has successfully represented injured workers before Utah's Labor Commission and on appeal for several years. He is one of the only attorneys in Cache County to do so. He can help you file a claim for benefits today.

Social Security Disability

Mr. Grant represents disabled children, disabled persons from 18 to 65, and has filed numerous cases on behalf of clients before the SSA in Utah. You have only 60 days to file a request for reconsideration or hearing before the Judge.


Mr. Grant has taken the 40 hour medication course, is certified to mediate cases, and has the background to be a very effective mediator to help resolve your issues.
